Case Manager/interpreter

The Burlington Housing Authority is looking for a part-time 20 hours Case Manager/Interpreter. The Case Manager/ Interpreter will coordinate supportive services and other activities designed to help BHA public housing residents attain economic and housing self-sufficiency. The Case Manager/ Interpreter will provide these services in an office and home visit setting. Employment start date is September 3rd 2008.

Requirement Skills and Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of experience working on supportive services designed specifically for underserved populations, with an emphasis on Case management/ Interpretation experiences
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of social service network
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be fluent in speaking and writing English. Must also speak Swahili, Maay Maay, Somali, or any other African dialect
