EnergySmart Academy
Vermont's largest energy audit and renovation contractor seeks a communicator, organizer, educator and leader to help develop and manage a new enterprise. The EnergySmart Academy is a division of Central Vermont Community Action Council, a progressive nonprofit based in Barre. The academy seeks to deliver a building-science based curriculum to assist Do-It-Yourself homeowners in prioritizing and completing energy saving retrofits.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial spirit who is outcomes oriented, with excellent written and oral communications skills and knowledge of adult education strategies. Requires a demonstrated ability to work independently to organize multiple activities and distill complex concepts into digestible content for motivated students. Experience with public relations, event coordination, web site content maintenance and web-based and registration services a plus.
This flex-time position includes incentives, building science training and excellent benefits. Submit letter of interest and salary requirements by July 30th to:
