Lund Family Center is a 117-year-old statewide agency, based in Burlington, for children and families. Lund is Vermont's largest private adoption agency, Vermont's only residential treatment program for pregnant or parenting women and their children, and a comprehensive resource for families with children, as a designated parent-child center with an operating budget of $6.5 million. Lund is seeking an accomplished, senior-level fundraising professional. This position is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive and strategic fundraising plan which includes an endowment/ capital building campaign, public relations, and a diversified annual campaign with specific goals, strategies, tactics, and schedules. Leadership and management responsibility for achieving measurable campaign goals, development of lead prospects, planned giving, major and special gifts, special events, corporate and foundation giving, and staffing board committees and key volunteer initiatives.
Requires Bachelorâ??s degree and 5+ years experience in fundraising, major/lead gifts, donor acquisition and development, capital campaigns, and planned giving. Must have demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, motivate and work effectively with staff, donors and volunteers, a "Can Do" approach to challenges, commitment to mission, and strong management and supervisory skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills a must.
