Director of Communications & Development

The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF), a twenty-three-year-old national not-for-profit that provides emergency relief assistance and business strengthening education and resources to artists, seeks a talented professional to join our staff in Montpelier, Vermont. The Director of Communications & Development will work closely with the Executive Director to develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive communications and development program that informs the public about CERF's work and secures significant financial resources from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing, communications, fund development or other appropriate discipline and seven or more years of experience leading the communications and fundraising department of a nonprofit organization with a proven track record of success. The individual will possess excellent writing, verbal, and analytical skills.
