CAREER PLANNING COUNSELOR
VSAC is looking for a dynamic professional who will provide statewide consultation and training to schools on building comprehensive career development programs. The successful candidate will provide support to schools in the area of Career Development and work with Career Development Manager to continuously evaluate VSAC career development needs. We are looking for someone with at least one year of supervision or program management in education and/or counseling and Master's degree in counseling or related field, experience working with community and human service agencies and schools, ability to develop presentations and work independently, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an understanding of the socioeconomic and academic needs of the clients served. Extensive in-state travel and working occasional evenings and weekends is required. Position requires living in Vermont, having a properly inspected, registered and insured motor vehicle, a valid driver's license, clear driving record, clear criminal background check, and home office.
