The Vermont Foodbank is seeking a highly-motivated individual to fill the human resources/payroll specialist position. This is a full-time position with benefits. The human resource/payroll specialist position involves all human resource and payroll duties, including workers' compensation management. The position requires that the occupant respond with professionalism and courtesy towards all other staff, the public, and the clients that the Foodbank serves.
Qualifications: Minimum of an associate's degree (bachelor's degree preferred) in a related field and at least 5 years experience in a human resource and payroll environment. Experience in payroll accounting applications, benefits management, and human resources are required. Experience in computer accounting, Word and an expert level of Excel is a must. Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills are required. Candidate must have excellent customer service and team skills. A complete job description is available upon request.
