The Northwest Solid Waste Management District is looking for candidates to fill a position offering a variety of opportunities to help make real impacts in the reduction, reuse, and recycling of the waste materials generated in the District.
The Northwest District is made up of 15 member communities in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. The staff works from our new Recycling Center and Office in the Town of Georgia. This position will be responsible for the planning and implementation of District events and activities that take place in all District towns: Household hazardous waste, bulky items, Drop and Swap events, educational efforts, and enforcement of District ordinances.
