Career and Education Outreach
(Winooski, Swanton and St. Johnsbury)
Preferred candidates will provide tutoring services to participants in the VSAC Outreach program at the request and direction of Outreach Counselor and supervisor. Tutoring will occur at identified schools. Tutors will be required to maintain tutoring logs and provide progress reports. Must be able to provide own transportation to school. High school diploma required; some college preferred. Should possess strong ability to tutor students in a variety of subjects, individually and in small groups. All tutors must complete a clean background check prior to tutoring. Up to 10 hours per week. Pay commensurate with experience. This is a temporary position, ending in June 2009.
